Christopher Dresser
Made by Ault Pottery
Provenance
Probably acquired in London in 1914-1915 by Peter Dekeyser, a Belgian judge who had taken refuge in England during the German bombing of his howetown Louvain. He returned to Louvain shortly after and the vase remained in the family until his grand-dauther-in-law Isabelle Ebens decided to sell it in January 2017.
