Commissioned by Alexander 'Aleco' lonides for the 'Antiquities Room' of his house, 1 Holland Park, London, ca. 1888. By descent to his wife, Isabella Sechiari, after his death in 1898. In 1908, Isabella sells 1 Holland Park and moves to Esher, Surrey. By descent to her daughter Penelope, and her husband Robert Hotchkiss, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland, 1913-1946 - In 1946, after her hushand's death Penelone lonides moves to Rathmore Fife, Scotland - The table remained there until her death in 1974 when it passed to her son Alistair Hotchkiss, and again by descent to her granddaughter Penelope Hotckhiss, Glasgow, unlit 2016.Publications
