The British Gilded Age 1850 - 1914: Masterpiece London 2019

OPENING IN LONDON

 

For the last nine years I have tried to promote European and American Decorative Arts from the turn of the century from my gallery in Paris. During that time, I was very fortunate to meet some wonderful people, handle some extraordinary objects, place some of them in wonderful collections and learn from a few illustrious colleagues. This catalogue is dedicated to all those who have helped me during all these years and who have made my next project possible. 

 

Britain always held a special place in my heart and in my work, particularly London which was the birthplace of the Aesthetic and Arts and Crafts Movements. This is why I am extremely happy to be opening our second gallery in Mayfair this summer. This has been a dream for many years and will be a very exciting adventure. The British Gilded Age was a very favorable theme to inaugurate our new premises, as well as our stand at Masterpiece. It covers several designers who have been very important in my career and this catalogue will be my humble tribute to them.
